Programme d’éminents chercheurs du COMSTECH
Objective
To build the scientific capacity of OIC Member Countries in various fields of science, technology, & innovation through benefitting from the best of OIC talent. To project soft image of Muslim world and show case best talent and create a strong global impact of Pakistan’s science and technology scenario.
Terms of Reference
- Top distinguished professors/scholars from COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence (CCoE) institutions will be engaged for the program.
- COMSTECH will invite them to different OIC Member States for public lectures, workshops, and training programs.
- Mobility of the scholars will be provided by COMSTECH and hospitality will be covered by the host institution.
The workshops/trainings will be conducted on cutting edge advanced technologies for which Pakistan has great reputation. It may include biotechnology, molecular medicine, genomics, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, cyber security, data science, physics, materials sciences, engineering disciplines, etc.
Outcome
The trained scholars will become permanent ambassadors of OIC Member Countries. It is expected that such activities shall increase the enrolment of foreign students in the Pakistani universities. Greater enrolment of foreign students shall directly benefit the higher education institutions of Pakistan.
